Hello, I’m Tyler
For me, therapy isn’t about ticking boxes or fixing what’s broken. It’s about honest conversations, understanding each person’s story, and working together to find what actually helps. Growing up in regional Victoria, I saw first-hand how tough it can be to get support, and how far a bit of understanding can go.
I'm a registered psychologist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology, and currently completing a PhD looking at supporting men's mental health, particularly in rural and regional Australia. I’ve worked with people facing all sorts of challenges; anxiety, low mood, eating and body image worries, stress, trauma, and tough patches that don’t always have a clear label. My training covers a range of evidence-based therapies, but I always tailor sessions to what fits best for you.
I believe a good session feels like a real conversation, somewhere you can say what’s actually on your mind without having to put on a brave face. Whether you’re coming in for the first time or you’ve done this before, my hope is you leave feeling heard, a little less weighed down, and with a sense that things can shift.
You don’t have to go it alone. If you’re ready to talk things through, I’m here to help you take that next step.

- Enhanced CBT for eating and body image concerns
No matter what you’re dealing with, we’ll work together to find the right fit. We put people first, no cookie-cutter plans, no judgement, just practical support to help you make sense of things and feel more like yourself.
Healing isn’t about fixing what’s ‘wrong’ with you. It’s about understanding yourself, processing what’s been, and creating a future where you feel safe, empowered, and in control.
Frequently Asked Questions
It’s normal to have a few questions before you get started. Here are some answers to things people often ask. If you’re still unsure about anything, send us a message or give us a call.
What do the first sessions look like?
The first session is about getting to know each other and working out what’s going on for you. You’ll have space to talk about what’s brought you in, what’s been tough lately, and what you’d like to get out of therapy.
We’ll chat through your background, any past support you’ve had, and what you’d like life to look like. It’s also a good time to ask questions and see if the way I work feels right for you.
Do you offer telehealth services?
Yes, we do. If making it to our Essendon practice isn’t easy, or if you’d just prefer to talk from home, we offer secure video and phone sessions. Many people find telehealth fits better with busy lives or if you’re outside Melbourne. You’ll still get the same level of care and support, just in a way that works for you.
Who do you work with?
Most of our clients are young men and adults, but we also work with teens and people from all sorts of backgrounds. Not sure if it’s the right place for you? Send us a message or give us a call. We’re always happy to have a quick, no-pressure chat first.
What kind of issues do you help with?
People see us for all kinds of reasons; feeling flat, anxious, or burnt out, trouble with food or body image, family stuff, study or work stress, or just that sense of being stuck. If it’s on your mind, it’s worth talking about.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No referral is needed. You can book in directly, just get in touch by phone, email, or through the online form.
